We had an amazing summer with many of you and the whole team is back for a fantastic Fall semester! Y.O.U. High School Programming will continue to provide engaging virtual options for ETHS students. The program lineup includes interest-based specialty programs that focus on college and career exploration, self-directed student learning, civic leadership, and so much more!

Your Y.O.U. High School Program Team
- In partnership with The Talking Farm, students in Y.O.U.’s urban garden program will learn about all aspects of managing an organic garden. There will be an offinline weekly scavenger hunt that will allow youth to explore nature native to Evanston.
- Youth will virtually check-in weekly to discuss environmental issues such as environmental racism, energy conservation, and industrial farming. Youth will also receive weekly meal kits (recipe included) with produce from the garden!
- Youth will receive a $100 stipend based on attendance and participation.

- Safer Space is a program dedicated to youth who are in the LGTBQ+ community or youth who are questioning their gender and or sexuality.
- This space consists of weekly check-ins, discussions surrounding LGBTQ+ issues, and occasional virtual movie nights.

- Base Camp is a program in which participants will have an opportunity to explore STEAM. As a participant, you will be sent 4 different STEAM kits each covering a different STEAM topic.
- Participants will have an opportunity to share and develop skills with their high school peers and learn about STEAM opportunities post-high school.
- Participants will also qualify to receive funding for their own STEAM project in the spring.
- Participants will receive $50 for each STEM kit you participate in, meaning you'll have the opportunity to make up to $200 this fall.

- The Leadership Project is a space that allows youth to explore the intersections of race and class through research, art, and discussions.
- This fall, you will critically think about and discuss how Eurocentrism has impacted the ways people and their bodies are policed.
- Working with Northwestern’s Block Museum, you will explore the connection between art and identity by examining pieces of artwork from the Block Museum’s own collection.
- Youth will receive a Fall stipend of $50 and a Spring stipend of $100. Stipend based on attendance and participation.

- Freshman Advisory is a program for ETHS freshmen who are looking for support as they navigate their first year of high school.
- Come build relationships with peers and other adults, connect with resources at your high school, and develop your academic and personal goals!
- This space is also for you to check in with your freshmen peers and gain mentorship from upperclassmen from the Senior Advisory so you feel confident and empowered during your high school years.
- Freshman Advisory students will receive a Fall stipend of $100, and a spring stipend of $50.

- Hey Seniors! Come celebrate your final year at ETHS!
- Senior advisory is for ETHS seniors to explore and connect to resources related to different career, college, and other post-secondary pathways. Participants will receive a Graduation Stipend to support your next adventure!
- This student-centered space will allow you to develop personal and professional goals, check in and gain support from peers about the high school transition, and grow your leadership experience by mentoring Freshmen Advisory students.
- Participants will receive a $1,000 Graduation Stipend to support your next adventure!
